Fourteen Individuals Complete CMS Program

Fourteen individuals were recognized on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 with a graduation reception for completing the Certified Manufacturing Specialist (CMS) program offered through Flint River Technical College, Economic Development Programs. A formal ceremony celebrating this event was hosted at the Flint River Technical College Community Development Center.

The Certified Manufacturing Specialist program is a course that teaches both soft skills and hard skills for the manufacturing environment as well as management principles, working with industry tools, statistics, physics and more. 

“We are proud of our recent CMS graduates. It is my hope that these graduates will continue to pursue educational opportunities in the future that will enhance their skills and ultimately make these individuals more valuable to their respective employers,” comments Mark Andrews, Vice President of Economic Development for Flint River Technical College.
