Teri Kinard, Director of Career Placement and Development at Flint River Technical College, has been nominated for The Work Ready Administrator of the Year award. This award recognizes superior customer service from Work Ready administrators at the state’s network of technical colleges.

TenCate Protective Fabrics - Weaving Plant & Finishing Plant has been nominated for the Work Ready Business of the Year award. This award recognizes companies that have successfully implemented Work Ready.

Joy Anthony, of Quad Graphics, has been nominated as Certificate Holder of the Year. The Work Ready Certificate Holder of the Year award recognizes individuals who have successfully leveraged their Work Ready Certification to advance their careers.
These individuals and others will be recognized by Governor Sonny Perdue inaugural Georgia Work Ready Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the Georgia Freight Depot in Atlanta. The Luncheon will recognize and honor partners, businesses and individuals for their support of the Work Ready program.
