Regional Community Leaders Convene to discuss Work Ready Program

The West Georgia Advanced Manufacturing Region Industry meeting was held at   West Georgia Technical College in LaGrange on Wednesday, September 3, 2008.  The meeting stressed the importance of the Work Ready Program with industry partners within the region. The counties that are part of the Advanced Manufacturing Regional grant of the Work Ready initiative include Upson, Talbot, Coweta, Troup, and Meriwether counties.  Flint River Technical College’s role includes administering assessments, gap training, and job profiles.   For more information, you can visit the website at www.gaworkready.com or call Teri Kinard at Flint River Technical College to schedule an assessment at 706-646-6226.
