Upson READ Certified Literate Community Program Supports Flint River Technical College GED Testing Services

Rick Thurman, Chairperson of the Upson READ Certified Literate Community Program, presents Vice President of Adult Education Len Moore a check to support the GED Testing Program at Flint River Technical College. Upson READ annually supports Flint River Technical College’s GED Testing Program by providing approximately $1,200 for the program. According to Vice President Len Moore, “The support provided by Upson READ is important to this community by providing funds to supplement the cost of this testing service. We are greatly appreciative.”
Upson READ is Georgia’s tenth Certified Literate Community Program and was established in 1993.
