Flint River Technical College Health Sciences Students Receive Caps and Pins in Ceremony

56 students took part in the Flint River Technical College Health Sciences Capping and Pinning Ceremony on June 18, 2008 at the R.E. Lee Auditorium in Thomaston. The audience of staff, students and their families were addressed by Kathlyn Burden, Flint River Technical College Registrar.
“The best exercise for the human heart is reaching down and picking someone else up," Burden said. "Always remember the reason you were chosen to lead in the first place. You are well on your way to achieving your dreams," commented Mrs. Burden.
After Burden's address, the Medical Assisting graduates received their pins and took their respective oath in the traditional ceremony. The Nursing candidates received their caps and their pin.
