Flint River Technical College Phi Beta Lambda Chapter Attended the Georgia State Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) Conference

Members and Advisors of the Flint River Technical College chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) attended the Georgia State PBL Conference. The conference was held at the Westin Atlanta North at Perimeter on April 11-13, 2008.
The weekend was filled with meeting sessions, competitions, an awards banquet, and a victory ball. Students competed in various events pitting their knowledge and skills against those of other technical colleges around the state. The following students attended the conference and competed in the indicated events
Cody Welch – Computer Concepts, Networking Concepts
Amie Hudson – Computer Concepts
Daniel Rash – Computer Concepts, Web Site Development
Danny Shumate – Web Site Development
Daniel and Danny were rewarded for their efforts with a 3rd place finish in Web Site Development, receiving a small plaque and certificates.
The National Leadership Conference will be held in Atlanta on June 19-21, 2008.
