Flint River Technical College is pleased to announce the promotion of Len Moore from Executive Director of Adult Literacy to Vice President of Adult Education.

“The change of Mr. Moore’s title appropriately aligns and more accurately reflects the importance of Adult Education to the College and the Technical College System of Georgia,” says Kathy Love, president of Flint River Technical College.

Mr. Moore received his BA in History from the University of Georgia in 1975 and a Master in Education from Georgia State University in 1981. In addition, he has earned several economic development certifications, including Certified Economic Developer Trainer (CEDT) in 2003. Len is currently enrolled in the Certified Manager of Program Improvement (CMPI) Leadership Excellence Academy, a joint effort on the part of the Georgia Office of Adult Education and ProLiteracy America.

Len lives in Griffin with his wife Nan and they have two children, Ellee and Walter.  In his spare time, he enjoys backpacking, camping in his RV, and University of Georgia football.
