Mark Andrews Named Vice President of Economic Development at Flint River Technical College

Mr. Mark Andrews, Flint River Technical College Vice President of Economic Development.

Mr. Mark Andrews has been named Flint River Technical College Vice President of Economic Development. 

Mr. Andrews holds Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Troy University.

Prior to joining Flint River Technical College on July 1, 2007, Mark served as the Human Resource Manager at Ten Cate Protective Fabrics for approximately six years.

A native of Upson County, Mark has played a major role in the community where he served on several boards, such as the Thomaston/Upson Chamber of Commerce where he served as the chair of the special projects committee, Chair of the Manufacturer’s Roundtable, member of the Thomaston/Upson Schools Partners in Education and School Council, and president of the Upson County United Way.

Mark is married to Donelan Avery Andrews a Youth Apprenticeship Coordinator for Griffin Regional Education Service Agency (RESA). They have two daughters, Eleta, 20, a junior at Mercer University in Macon and Harriett, 15, a tenth grader at Upson-Lee High School in Thomaston. In his spare time, Mark enjoys running and working out at the gym.
