The Flint River Technical College Foundation Board of Trustees hosted their annual Foundation Gala on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Park Lane in Thomaston.
Everything from a trip to Florida, to a string of pearls and a $2,200 Howard Miller clock from Bostwicks were auctioned off by the master of ceremonies Kenny Coggins. At $200 per ticket, 150 tickets were sold to benefit the College. Everyone who purchased a ticket was entered into the drawing for $5,000.
The winners were Wanda Hammock and Linda Churchwell who plan to share the grand prize. Corporate Sponsors were Bostwick’s Furniture, Connell and
