Rosa Copeland of Woodland, GA, has been named the August 2006 Student of the Month at Flint River Technical College. Ms. Copeland is in the Criminal Justice program and plans to obtain her associate degree and then acquire a high paying job in the justice system. Don Greathouse, her nominating instructor, explains that Rosa is dependable and attends class regularly. He also stated that she has a good attitude and is committed to education. Ms. Copeland expressed her appreciation to the staff in the New Connections to Work program for their support in helping her enroll in classes at Flint River Technical College.
