Our department is dedicated to serving our region with the highest quality training programs for business and industry, as well as providing continuing education that benefits the lifestyles of area citizens. We are proud to partner with many leading business and industry organizations in providing “world-class” workforce training. Likewise, our wide variety of continuing education classes are aimed at supporting individuals in learning new skills for career and personal growth. Our group also administers the Certified Specialist and Industry focused credit programs in areas of Manufacturing Specialist, Customer Service Specialist, Entrepreneurship, Applied Manufacturing, Management and Supervisory Development, and Plastics Technology!
Flint River Technical College has the mission of producing a highly trained workforce. We do not take this role lightly - and by maintaining constant contact with leaders of business and industry we ensure that the training we provide will make the workforce in Taylor, Talbot, and Upson County, along with the surrounding region, competitive in a global market. The College is committed to its mission of workforce development and meeting the needs of our business and industry.
